I’ve always wanted to do one of these screenshot re-draw things and since I needed to test out coloring with this new style I thought I’d finally give it a go.
I loved this part of Naruto, both in the manga and the anime, so I chose this picture.
Trying a new style. You know those times when your style starts to evolve and you’re just like, “What is this crap I’m drawing? This isn’t my crap!”
This simplified style alway tries to show itself when I go through these times, but I usually just stuff it away and try to keep the more “realistic” look.
Well I’ve never been fully happy with whatever styles I come up with, but this time, I think I do.
I’m gonna try to embrace this style and hone it. Maybe that’s what I’ve had to do this whole time but just ignored. Who knows. *shrugs*
It doesn’t feel like my style at all, but the more I look at it, the more I want to make it my style.
It gives me good vibes. :)
Drew chibi Bigby. For…reasons…
Fanart for the web comic Ophir: Reloaded.
I was gonna make this a “girl power” page, then I thought of a better hairstyle for Aslan aaannnd…
The previous hairstyle with all the bangs made him look really boyish for the bulky character he is. It always looked off.
Now I know why bulky characters are always bald or with slicked back hair.
Probably the best comic page I’ve ever drawn. Coincidentally the last compic page I’ve ever drawn.
Doodlin’ on my math work. This guy’s name is Old Man. Well, he has a real name, but nobody knows it. Not even me.
He’s always grumpy and pretty rude most of the time, but folks who know him know he’s alright. “He’s a complete jerk, but he’s a good guy.”
Kurt with longer hair and an eyepatch. I was thinking about pirates at the time and this happened.
